My Daddy

I am going to tell you about my daddy. My daddy is a wonderful man. He is a great loving father and a great loving husband. I am very proud to call him my father. My father is 90 years old.

People may say aren’t your daddy a little too old to be your daddy. I say so what! What is your point? When I was a little girl I use to have so much fun with my father.  Now that my daddy got older the less time I got to spend with my daddy. It started to make me feel sad because I could not do the things that I use to do with my daddy.

My daddy  use to know how to cook the best cabbage greens ever in the whole world. My daddy use to spoil me so much. I felt like a little princess in his arms. I felt safe in his arms like nobody could harm me or do anything to me.  My daddy has a lot of money.  My daddy own 3 buildings. He owns our house, he owns a candy store, and he owns an apartment on Wilcox.

In about in 2002 my dad had open heart surgery. The doctors had to take the veins out of his legs and put them in his heart. My dad survived that but he had a stroke in the process and he lost half of his memory. And that make him repeat things over again. But he survived that, too and my dad is fine now. I am so proud of my dad. And he is not going anywhere.  Not now.  Not ever.
