Run A Way’s
One time my mother took my brother Rayvin and me over to one of her friend’s house and we played with her friend’s kids til they both left. She told us we had to stay for a while until she came back.
When she left with her friend, the kids tried to tear the house down. Therefore, Rayvin and I tried to leave the house but the door was locked from the inside and out so there was no way we could get out.
Rayvin and I did not want to feel like it was our fault if we let them mess up the house.
My brother and I started to think; we looked out the window and said we can make it from the window to another house.
I was kind of nervous about jumping out the window because I did not know where I was going to fall. We jumped from a three story high building and we fell on to another house and went to the fire escape to get off the house.
We finally tried to get away but there was a woman standing in her doorway and she came out with a knife to come and stab us but we had to explain to her why we were on her house. She asked us did we need to get back in and we told her no we were trying to get out of there, we don’t want to go back, but thanks anyway.
After we stop talking to the woman, we went looking for my mom and it took us 2 hours to find her. My mother asked us where the kids are and we told her they are in the house. She asked us why did we leave them there and we told her that they was acting up and tearing down the house. She went back to the house and look at the mess. Rayvin and I stood at the door and waited for her to come out. The house was messed up bad. Clothing was everywhere and food was on the floor while kids were looking at TV acting like the sweetest kids ever. After my mom cleaned up the house a little, we left and thought we were never coming back but we were wrong.
My mother took Rayvin and I to pick up my sister Raysha and asked her do she want to baby-sit someone’s kids and the lady will pay her, and she said yes she will do it.
Rayvin tried to explain to Raysha that the kids was bad “Raysha don’t go” I said. My mother said Raysha can take care of them and we said OK.
When we got to the house my sister told the kids don’t act up when I am here cause I don’t play with little kids. My mother left and the kids thought my sister was playing. The kids started to run around and my sister told them to sit down or she will beat them. “You not gonna do nothing to me” said the little girl. Her and her brother went in the bathroom and locked themselves in there and we could not get them out.
We talked to the kids until their mother come. She asked us what’s going on and we told her that your kids were acting up and they locked themselves in the bathroom, because Raysha told them that she would beat them if they keep acting up.
