Football
I believe in doing what’s right. My personality is very cool, yet I am a humble person. But if people push the wrong button I can go off like a bomb. I don’t have any common gestures because I don’t talk much. I walk with a limp might just look like a pimp. I am a very strong person. I can bench press my own weight(135lb)my weakness is money and sexy females. I am unique because god made everyone unque.my hair is always cut. I wear a lot of different clothing mostly girbuad. My friends admire me so much because I play everything cool. Like nothing don’t disturbed me. What my family finds annoying about me is nothing because they love me. I love to have money hate to be broke and get played like a sucker. I believe school is the key to success.
School, and football. I was a little younger, about 13, but I remember it like yesterday. The game took place at Handsome Stadium. The field we played on was Astor Turf, right on the corner of Central and Fullerton. It’s a good neighborhood. It’s quiet and clean. It was around 3:30 during the summer time and it was very hot, with the smell of fresh air that could get nasty at times.
The first half, we play our heart out. If you were there you would have said that we had been cheated by the referee. The team that we were playing, their players were two times bigger than us in height and size. Many of our players were getting injured and thrown out of the game. Our opponent team was up two touchdowns.
The most challenging part of the event was the second half. When we came out of the locker room, our team pulls it together with hits, tackles and touch downs. Every time we score, the other team would too. We played our hearts and soul out at the last quarter. I believe that we won the game but the referee called back the wining touch down, so we lost.
What will always be in my memory was my jersey number 32 and the feeling of me running the ball for some yards or a touchdown. the moments that I had with my football team even do we didn’t have a good season be cause most people was not focused how I was.
The losses I had to deal with was a injury to my ankle. It was swollen for about 2weeks. I had to wear an ankle bracelet so it could heal. I lost my money, lots of time, and my cell phone.
After playing a full football season, I gained speed, toughness and power. This type of experience kept me off the streets, and helped me learn more about the game so I could be a better player for the next year football season.
Who I really believe was a mentor to me was my older cousin Dre. He has a very cocky personality. We both like to have fun and we both like to work out. Walks like he’s always on a mission. Always believe you could do anything you put your mind to. His strength is his mind. What I admire about this person is he stays focused. What I find annoying is when he talks a lot. My mentor dislike when someone wastes their life on nothing. My mentor believe in taking care of business first. My mentor is a leader.
