I believe that people drink to try and escape from the problems in their lives. People also drink to be cool and fit in with other people around them. Others may drink because they see people drinking and think its O.K. to drink. I think that if the laws on drinking were enforced more we wouldn’t have these problems.
Alcohol is a problem to me because I know people who have divorced parents due to alcohol in their household. My best friend once had to go to the hospital due to alcohol poisoning. Drinking is harmful in more than one way. My friend had a seizure after getting her stomach pumped because she was so scared. It scared me, too, because I thought I was going to lose my best friend.
