Unity

What does unity mean?
Why isn’t there more unity?
What do we have to do to achieve unity?
Who needs to be enlightened about unity?
Will we ever accomplish unity?

Unity is the state of being one, whether it’s your mind, feelings, or just a group of different cultures coming together as a whole or even one single culture becoming a whole. In today’s society unity is looked over and tossed aside. Everyone is out for themselves, not too many people believe in helping one another and achieving a much bigger goal of peace and love for one another. For us to ever accomplish unity we need to overlook the racist crime made years ago and really learn from them rather than feed into them and just accept what ever differences we all have with one another whether it’s black and white crime or black on black crime.

We need to all come together and appreciate what we all have that really makes us the same which is the capability to breathe and live to see another day. So many people take things for granted and focus on the little things in life rather than the bigger picture. Many people need to more knowledgeable about unity. It is not just one race but all races.

Now whenever someone sees an Arabic person on the plane they automatically assume the worst or if you see a black person driving a Lexus truck people automatically assume he bought it with drug money. The whole world needs to be enlightened on the situation. The only way will ever be able to accomplish unity is if everyone just accept things for what they are and leave the past behind them and just believe in uniting with one another to make the world a better place.

We have to stop the wars and let people make their own decisions. If the president is supposed to be our leader and set a good example how are we ever supposed to achieve unity when the president has no true idea about unity. We need peace, equality, and appreciation for one another and that is when we can achieve unity.
